Having previously been involved in a church plant in the southside of Glasgow, I am currently one of the Ministers-in-Training at St Silas Church — a growing evangelical church in the heart of the city, with a large contingent of students.  My formal ministry training is provided by the Pastors’ Training Course at Cornhill Scotland in conjunction with an MA in Systematic Theology from Union Theological College, Belfast. With a young family to support, this training for gospel ministry is only possible by the Lord’s providence through the generous support of trusts and individuals, and I am so grateful for the John James Charitable Trust’s continued support throughout. Not only has the John James Charitable Trust provided significant financial support, but I am grateful for their interest in my progress and for their prayers.
